Healing has to come from within our “inner being.” When we are on a pain journey we often find that learning and growing in our essential self is difficult. We are distracted by pain, we are frustrated, and other areas  of our lives become more  difficult and can suffer. However, with the correct intervention and community around us this can be regained.

Respect and non-judgement work together as foundations of our practice. You need to be heard and met by those around you. You also need to have grace for yourself. Lack of judgment is essential for all humans, as all of our stories and backgrounds are too complex for anyone to understand in entirety.

Lastly, your journey is non- linear. You need to be met where you are and allowed, with open arms, to continue to grow as you conquer and heal from your pain.
